First impressions of the new Edge

Postby lindseym » Wed Oct 11, 2017 4:52 am

Over the weekend I had the chance to ride the new Ozone Edge (9m) in about 22 to 24kts. The skinny - to me it feels alot like previous models except it had a bit more of a direct, solid feel. Yes, it was a killer boosting machine as expected but probably about the same as previous models. The turning speed is a tiny bit faster. When I pulled the trigger it was a solid gradual lift with an amazing glide. Bar pressure felt a little heavier as well but this could have been the setup. Airstylers this is a great option but if you come out of the hook shop for other options. On final note, the depower on this kite is amazing and i was shock how much power was pulled out of the kite with just a tiny bit of trim.
