There's been lots of chatter lately about using a smaller CL if you don't unhook. Switch's new bar has a CL that's very easy to make smaller and they provide nice clear instructions on how to, nice job Switch! I believe this bar is essentially the same as several other brands so this may apply to those as well.

Great find Alford, can you tell me the shortest length the CL can be once shortened. ?

Not much shorter than standard - otherwise it's a shocker to get reset, and not sure how the angle would affect the QR.
