Here is my friends first video test with the new SoloShot 3 straight out the box. Minimum zoom.
I'm on my EdgeV9 8m and the wind was very gusty .
Camera was placed behind a minivan.
I like it alot. Miner flaws that can be fixed I think.

Blade: did you set it to extra wide or just wide?

For next session I will use the centered feature...like this it is too low in the picture like you can see with your footage.

Full HD or 4K

edt got my really bad shaking video pretty flattend out...se here how he did it.

Can anyone recommend a software besides the Vegas Pro he uses that could do it? Vegas Pro is pretty expensive...looking for something cheaper.

I just got sent a file from ITN...he used Adobe After Effects...and the result is even better than the one from edt.

Pretty much without shaking...and in the original it was shaking like crazy...amazed what is possible.

Hey Toby. I noticed that at a few points the camera goes way out of focus? Hopefully some of that will get fixed with updates.

The camera gets out of focus when it zooms out.

Will try next time with a wider zoom and have me centered in the frame.

What I don't understand that Soloshot doesn't offer a camera adapter (which I remember they offered initially) so I can use my Sony camera. The steady shot works perfect, no shaking at all in over 30 knots...and always focused...

I asked Soloshot and they will release one mid of 2018...WTF...I think they will some sales due to that.

I prefer to film with my Sony...but want to use the new Soloshot. Setup is much better

The Soloshot3 camera has a good lens - I'm hoping they fix some of the zoom issues

They said they are working on the image stabilization software. One day an update comes...they have no idea when.

Here is a tip for people having issues with magnetic interferance errors.keep the Tag away form your cell phone . on my first day I had a lot of issues with magnetic errors but I was walking around with the tag in my hand while testing and a cell phone in my pants pocket . My second test day I kept the tag on my arm or a top pocket and didn’t have those issues.
