Hey guys,
just a quick question on the SST 2017. The table on the SS-site says that the windrange ist something around 17 - 28 kts:
Can you guys confirm the table? I only have experience with the NKB neo as a wave kite and if you are going for the neo, you can easily choose one to two sizes smaller than you would on a regular freeride kite (i.e. evo).
Im wondering if the SST behaves the same and the SST is more a 11 or 12m kite than it is a real 9m.
thanks!

Hello,
If you are already a NEO kite owner stay with the NEO. The sst are amazing kites but 1-upwind is not as good as the NEO 2-NEO has more power than the SST. I will say 12 SST is like a 10 NEO. 3- NEO has pivots like turns and the SST is very round turn and generate to much pull down the line wind effect
The SST is an amazing kite. What i like about the SST:
1-depower
2-relaunch
3-built
4-an the drift is a good or better than NEO
cheers

Ditto, what he said
To be fair the sst is an outstanding wave Kite
But there is something magical about the neo powerwise

I've flown them both lots. The Neo is a nice, stable kite but just too much bar pressure and slow for me. Also, the click bar seemed heavy, even compared to the beefy ss bar. The SST is a fast, looping kite with light bar pressure. But I agree that size for size, the Neo has more power. Just depends what's important to you.

Thanks for the information!
I definitely prefer faster kites!
