Pump similar to small WMFG

Postby MataLeao » Mon Nov 20, 2017 6:44 pm

Hi guys,

I'd like to buy a small kite pump for going on vacation and had targeted the small WMFG (1.0R). Unfortunately it seems to be all out of stock in Germany, and I am in a bit of a rush to get it here in time.
As I understand it, there are pumps of identical design that are branded differently. Which other smaller pump should I get that is basically the same or maybe even better?

Thanks for your responses!

The Core pump has been around for a couple years and from what I know plenty of other pumps (including the WMFG) are now made from the same moulds and feature the same pump action configurations. Don’t know if it offers the same compatibility as the WMFG though..

The Decathlon pumps are fine, and cheap as.

One should pay attention that Cores adapter doesn't fit North, and North doesn't fit Core, while WMFG:s adapter fits both.
Totally silly that these two brands seem to go out of their way to not support each other.
I don't know if this is an issue with Decathlons pump?
