yep. 14/12/10/8 m sizes. great kites. not much difference from the 2017 models beside a more reinforced trailing edge.

What do you Think about the low end? When you sail with your boys, do you need to go up in size compaired to your boys, you are saling with?
Thanks

I'm also curious about the Torch 2018 low end as the 2017 was lacking some compare to the 2016. Any difference?

Thanks!

I don't think so as I've used the 2017 bar on older Torches and it works very well with similar low end power.

Hmm. Have you tried moving knots on bar? From knot B to knot A? If so any good?
Also the Torch in 14m how is the upwind ect. Compaired to 12m? Thinking of having a quiver of 10,12,14. At moment I have the 10 and 12.
Thanks

look, the answer is pretty simple.
the 2017 bars were coming with a 5th line too short. this was creating lack in low end and as well different feeling on the bar when performing unhooked tricks.

i'm not sure why Naish has not informed the market about it. true is that starting from the 14m kite, i added 15cm or slightly more to the 5th line.
the kite is flying way better, shape is more C and it creates more power in low end, but as well, way more slack in the trix.
If you do not have any extension line to be used, use the ESP connector (the longer one) to add to the 5th line. on the 14 you need 15/17cm.
on the 12 you need 13/14cm
on the 10 you need 10/11 cm
on the 8 you need 8cm

do your test and you will be very happy of the result. make also sure that the bar is trimmed properly. keep always in mind that after some sessions, there is always a bit of extension on the lines, although they are pre-stretched.

the 2018, that should have had this issue sorted, comes with a different 5th line, but still, from my point of view is not sufficient. i'm running on 10cm extension more or less across the range.

i'm using 2 bars, one for 12 and 14, and one for 10 and 8m.

Hope this help,
F

the kite is similar in low end to all the other same size kite. 14m torch = 15 Razor/ 14.5 vegas

the knots on the backlines will make sure the kite will fly correctly. attach the line to a single point, hook in to the loop and lay back creating tension on the lines. make sure the lines are all equally long and full power, the bar set at the end of the depower, touching the c-loop.
should look like this..
