Nice! Please post your Xmas-New Year sessions in the thread on Christmas kiting! Looking forward!jeromeL wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 10:40 pmwhile trying out backroll kiteloop more powered I over rotated and landed flat on ribs. no injuries but knocked the wind out of me.
I have had more impressive wipeout but landing flat even at low speed isn't fun.
I guess it's a good harness fit test

I am getting pretty consistent on double backroll kiteloop, it's pretty easy to do if you can do small backroll kiteloop, and slow loop trick like hand drag or darkslide, i think you can land it quickly.
The pop on first rotation has pretty close timing with hand drag or dark slide, you send kite slow and pop before it gets to 12.
after first rotation you crank the bar for the loop.
after first rotation as you loop, it will actually slightly speed up second rotation so you have to loop early, if you loop late you end up in third rotation.
on Saturday and on Chistmas we are getting pretty strong gusty wind in New York, should be fun.
Happy holidays
Thanks lol, sometimes it's the small not impressive stuff that hurtfat blokes can fly wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2017 11:30 amThat's not a bad wipe out really.
Clickbait lol...... Nice video, good skills
I would agree with that.jeromeL wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2017 4:12 pmThanks lol, sometimes it's the small not impressive stuff that hurtfat blokes can fly wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2017 11:30 amThat's not a bad wipe out really.

That one in comparaison was nothing

That session was weird with wind coming a bit from land, it forecasted upper 20s so started on 9m, turns out wind dropped right away at 15 knots then it built up to low 20, had a couple of nice gust 25 knots or so. Had a lot of fun, diversity in wind strength went from low power trick rotation to unhook to kiteloop.Cristiano_Leandro wrote: ↑Tue Jan 02, 2018 7:48 pmbutter flat man, how many knots and kite size?jeromeL wrote: ↑Fri Dec 22, 2017 10:40 pmwhile trying out backroll kiteloop more powered I over rotated and landed flat on ribs. no injuries but knocked the wind out of me.
