I did not calculate statistics like I did for thread OP's jumps a while ago but it looks that among 10-15 woo-meter jumps you suddenly get a single 21 woo-m jump. It is suspious statistically.
Suspicious statistically?
Where do you live?
in most places 35kts days are.. 20 gusting to 40
To me it seems that the wind picked up silly, the guy did a boost got lofted and decided to call it the end of the set (which was smart)!
Yes after that jump i call it end of the day. It was a Heigh jump and i just wanted to come in and see the result off it and i was the last person on the water.

I think it is possible to have a big boost in a session...gusts make it possible.
AND, he has a video as proof!
From flat water like this i had to catch a gusty wind to get so High

omg those Pik & woo jump heights are waaaaay off. 4 meters off! I think it's obvious from the jump it's a legit 20 something meter jump, but it sure gives me pause when people use their woos and other kind of devices to say how high they jump.
After seeing that data table my feelings on the woo and piq is this, "For entertainment purposes only."
I think the piq may have registered the jump when the "woost" started but the woo waited until after the wooost and apex. When you woost you bring your legs from compressed down first before you swing them up, and that may have triggered the piq.

Odd that you interpret the numbers that way.
I see 55 out of 56 jumps almost the same (within 1M) between PIQ and WOO, which is quite remarkable for 2 different devices from different manufacturers and in my opinion only reinforces their accuracy.
Yes the last jump is way off but overall the numbers are very close.

Man, whenever there is a woo topic there are always the same bunch of people barking "toy toy toy", almost like they get dividends from it.
Can someone from that crowd point me to better way to measure jump height in the same price-range, or maybe 2-3times more expensive and does not include multiple people. Sure, you can draw lines on blurry gopro videos.. but you are drinking way too much Kool-Aid if you believe that you get better precision by this "method".. As a few people pointed out, the jump on the video looks like 16-21meters, depending on so many factors.. So, to me the woo/piq seem like a pretty useful tools for this particular job...
If you need better precision, put a few on them on the same board and run the averages..

Also could that 16vs21m difference be due to different stance on woosting between the brands?
The woo definitely encourages table-topping while other brands may penalize you for that.. Not sure what PIQ does.
The guy on the video table-topped while still going up.. Maybe that cutoff PIQ reading too early? just a guess..
I usually don't dare to table-top once over 12-14m

The provlem is nobody can prove the accuracy of all the sensor...no outside test with pics movie ecc ecc..thats why its a toy.. And 16\21m its very different mean no accuracy..u need to be judge by style and not by cm...

It would be easy to check accuracy of these units. There are other data loggers of altitude out there that are accurate and cheap but not waterproof. That could be addressed by the user (waterproofing) for testing purposes to check the accuracy of the Woo or PIQ units. These for instance....
https://hobbyking.com/en_us/hobbykingr- ... lsrc=aw.ds used for model sailplanes. <30.00 US. accurate to.3 meters...
