it is possible, but I assume way too risky to crash.
Nice surprise though!

Watching the 30 meter mark take a hit. A very pleasant surprise!

agreed, that would be insane...and then it wouldn't matter which trick it is or which gear gets used

I guess we expect the following field?
Straps:
Nick Jacobsen (DK)
Antonin Rangin (FRA)
Kevin Langeree (NL)
Steven Akkersdijk (NL)
Joshua Emanuel (RSA)
Lewis Crathern (UK)
Ross-Dillon Player (RSA)
Aurelien Petreau (FRA)
Marc Jacobs (NZ)
Lasse Walker (NL)
Boots:
Aaron Hadlow (UK)
Ruben Lenten (NL)
Gijs Wassenaar (NL)
Jerrie Van De Kop (NL)
Sam Light (UK)
Oswald Smith (RSA)
No Idea:
Reno Romeu (BRA)
Jessie Richman (USA)
Judging by the number alone, straps is looking like a good bet. Although there are some heavy hitters in the boots team.
Can I go out on a limb and say that the ultimate instant win mega loop would be with a strapless surfboard?

Durch are great riders, no doubt.
Would be interesting to see if riders like Lewis or Steven will use straps...they can do Boardoffs but always used boots at KOTA before.
Same for Reno and Jesse, both good boardoffers.
Really hard to say what they will use...
