I've been looking for the Oneill Gooru kite, but they're impossible to find in the US. I even called Oneill and they said it was an EU only product.

Thanks everyone who contributed, My personal picks are below:
NP Impact Vest Side Zip Best price and pretty good coverage. (my second pick) Best ergonomics, good styling too.
*FLYING OBJECTS IMPACT VEST Great price and awesome coverage (My first pick)
Dakine Surface vest Looks really safe except for gaps between the thick pads. Price medium.
PULLOVER KITE VEST - JET A bit thinner construction with pouch, good price, "Promotion wetsuits", worth a check.
The middle two look safest and the "Flying objects impact vest" seems to seriously blend in good side impact protection all around the ribs at a really good price so I think I'll go with that. It also has small gaps between panels which I like.
The top two vests cost about the same together as one expensive one but are probably just as good I believe.
