I think Marc Jacobs is one to look out for...he is a great rider who can jump high...he can do lots of tricks from Freestyle and Airstyle. I hope he will be on straps to also show more variety with boardoffs which he can do.

Same for Reno...

Definately not MJ , Lasse and Antonin doing the board off kiteloops, Joshua is my highest bet

It will depend a lot on what the judges are looking for...
If wakestyle gets the nod ==> Hadlow
If hooked in elevation and smoothness ==> Langeree

Kevin is the best in this, Hadlow will go tech to have the judges on his side. Lets see

Would love to see Tom Bridge going on his hidrofoil! :)

after watching round 1 I have two new favorites:

Aaron and Antonin !

The megaloop boardoff will make the difference!!!

Yeah, the sport is one level further up...stoked!

Will the winner be sponsored by red bull? Will the winner be friends with the judges?

Good to see a new generation.

Watching it today Aaron was looking good, nice idea changing to straps when he did made the difference, whether going straight into round four is good it will definitely keep his energy but he knows the conditions and beach well so he’s surely up there, shame to see so many big names in round 2 but that’s the competition. Well done to Tom Bridge standing in, hard for him as he only just got there after being called up but just being there I expect was enough with the smile on his face.

The only reason Hadlow changed to straps was to show the judges that he could beat Antonin Rangin in his own game, this is typical Aaron, a very experienced competitor. He will continue to do so ofc if the judges continue to score the board off megaloops higher than other stuff. Again its 70-30 but it seems tech always scores higher, it feels more like 50-50.
