I've been on the Shinn train for several years. Great boards and construction IMO. I ride in a lot of choppy water and the Monk is just freakishly smooth and easy on my knees. I usually get bored quick and want something new, but i just can not see moving on from this ride for a while. I just Picked up a King Gee for those low wind sessions, hopefully i will be just as happy.

Yup, nothing I've tried even approaches the Monk. I just ordered my 4th one! Tried the Ronson last year, but not for me.

Monk is quite flexy board.
Yes, sure, Ive got 50yo bad knees, but did not like Monk at all.
Gel pads on Monk I like tho...

Axis Limited and for light wind Axis Ultra both high end carbon fibre with big channels. Super smooth in the chop, insane pop, goes upwind like a rocket, lightweight construction, great pads flawless in every way.

Lieuwe boards are amazing and strong as hell all handmade. I ride the shotgun and have never found a board that compares to it

Crazyfly Raptor LTD is hands down the best board for me. And I would argue it is one of the best for everyone.

I’ve heard really good things as well!
As anyone tried an imperator to compare?

Love my Shinn King Gee for those light wind days and my Brokite Hybrid - Custom made for me. Tried quite a few boards but these excel in both their disciplines.
