Weighed my Enduro V2's:

12m = 3.08 kg
10m = 2.70 kg
8m = 2.51 kg (still slightly damp)
6m = 2.18 kg

(edit - weighed on electronic kitchen scales)

Fly 6m on 17"/43cm bar with 23m lines
Fly 8/10/12 on 20"/51cm bar with 23m lines

Use the middle bridle position (as delivered)
Really direct feel with no pulleys
They are fast and have a huge wind range
Light bar pressure even when maxed out
Sheeted out they just sit and fly neutral
And they turn fast!

Oh, and mine are red (custom colour) which is of course the best colour.

Can not fault them.

can you weigh the 12m as well, please? And how's the lowend of the 12m is it great or just a tiny bit more from 10m?

Low end on the 12m Is a few knots better than the 10m but for the 12m in summer I will use the freestyle bridle setting and a bar with 27m lines.

Thats about the same as my Ocean Rodeo flites (within a few grams which could easily be cheap scale tolerances) which are not much different from many of the big brand single strut kites.

Have you noticed much difference in playing with the bridle settings? I can imagine that being able to make it feel a bit more surf like for light wind on a hydrofoil with a nice light weight kite like that might be a real good thing*.

*Actually - I was thinking a little while back that if I could change anything about the Flites, it would be an extra bridle setting to give a little more pull in the turns.

Complete set to compliment a 13m Chrono V2 for light winds and 65kg rider? I was thinking 11, 8, 6 but I wonder if I could get away with 11 and 7...?

Depends on up to when you can hold your 13, but I would go for 10-7

As said before, the Enduros are 3 strut kites.

And no, haven't played with the bridles yet because mostly been on the 8m with a few sessions on the 6m. There are 3 bridle settings.

The bridle is interesting as it's adjusted from the centre of the kite.

Yes, changing the bridle makes a noticeable difference. The wave setting does not make it a Reo but gets close. The freestyle setting does not make it a C4 buts gets close. Very different feel. Changes the power through the turn, the turn shape, the bar pressure and the slack after pop. Having said that I rarely use the freestyle setting as my shoulders don’t like the unhooked part any longer. Mostly middle setting unless in big clean waves. Also, really easy to change.

Have any of you tried the 2018 Pivot or Slash in 12m, meaning how they compare to Enduro v2 12m? I'm interested in lowend performance and turning speed as I am looking for the "low wind" kite for strapless freestyle surfboard, and had my mind a bit set on Pivot/Slash due to lowend power and quick turning, but now the Enduro is on my as well; it's 500-600 grams lighter than Naish kites which must mean something in light winds? =o

Anyone flown the 2018 Switchblade, and Enduro either V1 or V2? I am about to splash on Ozone Enduros but am being recommended to consider the Switchblade as well...
