The spring release I think usually is out around March. I've not hear anything yet.

Agree. The current Dash is so good I honestly can't see where a designer would make improvements. It jumps huge, turns fast, rides nicely unhooked with good slack, is forgiving and has great feel.

I ordered a 9m. Really curious about how it feels after I have been riding Pivots the last three years (which I will keep). I liked the 2014 Park a lot, so I believe I will like this one as well.

Saw some pics. New, very nice design and colors. Similar to the current Pivot/Slash models but a bit different.
Also some new tech. features for better durability and a reduced leading edge diameter for quicker turning speeds.
That´s the marketing speech, but heard this many times in Naish statements before and then, when measured the kite had the same dimensions. So let´s see when it arrives. But why change much. It works really great. One of the best Naish kites by far for a long time.
As usual it should be on the homepage around mid March - so quite soon.
And normally available in shops a few weeks later. The current Dash is on sale everywhere now, so it should be soon.
Interesting.
I wonder how it will work unhooked in this case. Faster turning speed vs previous model, which as I hear is quite fast, could mean worse in this regard...?

Increased pressure due to thinner LE, which means a kite positioned more forward in the window...
How was the first edition in this regard compared to Torch for example?
Faster turning, doesn't it contradicts to unhooked or wakestyle improvement?

Newbie poster here. Hopefully im not posting in the wrong place / thread.

A question for Dash V1 14m owners. I have a 2018 12m Pivot which i only use in lighter winds from 14 to 18 knots. I'm looking to replace this kite with the 14m Dash. In terms of low end power, would these kites be comparable? I ride flat water with a TT mainly boosting, kiteloops and some basic popped tricks.

I already have a 11 Dash which ticks all the boxes for me except for low end. In comparison, the Pivot feels average / dull. I'm hoping the 14 Dash will be more lively.

Any feedback from someone that has a 14 Dash wI'll be appreciated..

Yes. Your 12m pivot and 14m dash should have similar low end. For unhooked tricks I prefer to ride the 14m Dash on 27m lines as you will get a bit more low end and more slack when popping.

Thanks for the reply Osprey1.

I probably would have bought the 14m anyway but now I feel more confident going ahead with the purchase.

Only one more question... 14 Dash V1 or V2?

Any opinions on the benefits of the smaller LE diameter? I am aware the kite will fly more forward in the window but thinking the smaller diameter might help with efficiency on the 14m in lighter winds.
