Those are the ones I'd heard of. Thanks.
Would you recommend them? How is the traction on surf boards (waxed or pads)
i have these swiss dyneema socks and they work well on surf board, skim board, TT, foil
question of wear off - not sure if they wear off faster than booties
issues - main problem i have is that my wider than average feet don't fit as well and you cant try these as online only. but if you have regular! feet should be fine..best thing if you can find someone else who has try before you buy..
on the positive I dont get waterlogged booties anymore but in winter I wont use these

I ride twintip barefoot and I can foil in booties (and do in cold water). Mine are O’Neill Ninja and I only wish there was a low-cut and thinner version of them.
One of my friends and yet another guy (used to be a Cabrinha rep) used Swiss socks in La Ventana back in January and they were very satisfied. My friend said they last a season which I’d consider short lifespan. My choice was to ride barefoot and I had my feet cut badly so I’d probably get these before next trip there.

Ride boots or accept risks. I hate wearing anything on my feet; messed up my connection to the board.

Durrrrr........ look at me!! I ride boots!!!! BooooTs!
Boots for my students
Boots in straight onshore
Boots on my surfboard
Dragging my ass across these oysters cause I got cool boots
Yeah I hate wearing anything on my feet too. But I really hate missing surf and wind. And I'm sour because walking has been a chore for me the last few weeks.
I wish Swiss socks had a lobster rather than toesies.

There's no such thing as oyster foot.

Sorry, couldn't help it. I actually use an older version of the O'Neill SUPERFREAK TROPICAL 2MM SPLIT TOE BOOT. They work pretty good. The sole will stop a lot.

Those yellow dutch Crocs are pretty fresh.
I ordered some dyneema socks with toesies.
Long ago I used to wear cotton tube socks in the water as a disposable sacrificial layer.
One problem is I lose interest quickly as my memory of the oyster foot fades.

Give us a report after you try them out. They look pretty good. I hadn't heard of them.
I too use the O.Neill Superfreak reef booties with the Ninja toe. Best I have tried so far...

Yeah, O'neil 2M split toe reef booties is probably what I have now that you mention it.
I wish those Swiss socks came in another color. Do we really need a bright red Swiss band on our ankles?
Lots of options, and I agree... as much as I hate wearing them, I hate being sidelined with a foot injury worse. As it is, I wear them on the Sound (flat water) side which has more foot hazards and go barefoot for ocean sessions. I kite all sand breaks. No reef.
