Hey guys,
there is very limited info on the crazyfly kites in the forums.
I got a good deal on a brand new 2017 ones and I'm wondering how is the quality of these kites ? Are they as durable as the big brands - Cabrinha, North etc.?
Cheers!

My guess is they are as good as any other brand. I have had a few of their boards and they are top shelve IMO..

Thanks matth for the comment! I heard only good things about the boards, but almost nothing about the kites. There is some reviews on websites, but they seem so biased and untrustworthy.. That is why I'm asking + I don't have the opportunity to try them out..

I have a 7 and 9 Sculps and they are very durable and user friendly. This is my second season with them I'm not affiliated in any way and also fly other brands too. They use good quality materials and construction I think better than some bigger brands because you can see the attention to details.
The Sculp is a do it all kite and very intuitive to fly with no pulleys or extra stuff.

Are CF the only medium/large kite company that makes their kites outside asia? It's interesting that they can keep their costs down producing in europe.

Yes the only ones. Take note though. Salary in Eastern Europe is far from high and dont increase as fast as in Asia. Also, we have our factory in Sri Lanka. This means that all manterials (of which multiple from EU) first goes to Sri Lanka and then back to EU again. If the most part of your bussiness is in EU you safe a huge amount on transportations. Never the less, still very curious to see how it will all devellop in our big fast changing world.

Thank you all for the comments!
Matth, I'm living in Europe so there is no point calling Jeff. It is interesting that they haven't reviewed any Crazyfly kite on youtube.
The prices of Crazyfly kites here in Europe seem cheaper than in USA, quite opposite for the rest of the brands though.
I don't understand why people don't write anything about these kites even though they are on the market since 2010.

I agree, I think their boards are excellent, but after all the fuss about making the kites in Europe and how great they are going to be, you hear very little.
I saw this review they posted on their own facebook page;
https://www.thekiteboarder.com/2018/04/ ... fly-sculp/
Not sure I'd be rushing to buy it, after reading it.
