I was thinking of heading down end of April. Can not really find any info on the forums sight or onlne.

Light wind, great waves. You may get lucky & get a session but I'd only take a big kite you like riding directionals with. Foiling is possible

Yeah, great spot to surf, I wouldn't even think of kiting -
a. you will piss off everyone catching waves if you go kiting through,
b. the wind is completely offshore for the most part,
c. - refer to a and b.
If you want to kite, go north roughly 2 hours to Bahia Salinas, but frankly, if you are going to Nosara, go to surf.

+ Nosara has some fun surf, but no kiting.
Check out the Harmony Hotel.
If you like coffee, jam as much in your luggage as you can and take it home. Outstanding stuff!
