Anton is hands-down the best kite tutorial producer. Watched and rewatched each of his episodes.

Hey, Toby!

Thanks for sharing! Yeah, the series is now complete.
I had a lot of questions on powered loops topic and some teaching experience as well. I had a feeling, that classical approach to teaching powered loops is not really good, so I tried to compose a new type of progression in the 3rd episode.
If anyone has any questions, let me know. I'll keep an eye on this thread.

BR, Anton.

Anton !! Thanks for sharing. Just recently we had Tampa's biggest Big Air competition and I was "lucky" enough to end up in the pros division where I got absolutely demolished. I was up against guys like Billy Parker, Dimitri, and Cameron Maramenides. Needless to say, it was so inspiring and cool being in a heat with these guys throwing huge megaloops. I will probably start working on these one day -- but not on my rebel ;). Probably get a Dice 8m or something. Thanks for the vids as always.

Hey, Lindsey, nice to hear from you, man!
Yeah, true, Rebel is definitely not the one to try powered loops, even smaller sizes. I had an 8 meter Rebel and it was trying to kill me every time I tried to go a bit powered on a kiteloop! It was a 5-line model though.
And yes, it is something I was thinking about including in the video. DOn't try your megaloops on Rebel
If anyone has any info on how the 4-line Rebel acts, let me know.

I saw some Dice kites in megaloop action. Some modern Evo models (a lot of them actually) as well. Both look perfect! Of course, Vegas is still the megaloop king in North range!

Actually, Antons paid videos on how to jump is by far the best tutorial I've ever watched.
Very well produced, excellent delivery/tutoring and lots of information.

He is very humble and does not advertise them much in here but they are worth every penny!

Whoa! Didn't expect to see this post in the thread, thanks a lot, so nice to hear that!
Yeah, I hoped, that those vids are kinda self-promoting :) when people are sharing them. Thanks for your appreciation, I've put tons of work in them, that's true!

For those, interested in Ultimate Kiteloop series.
I didn't include some material in the videos, now I have to fill that gap somehow.
First of all. The importance of steering the kite till it's leading edge looks EXACTLY upwind, when finishing the loop. I mention it shortly in the Ep III, but the importance of it it really high!

Take a look at the examples I came across.
OVER-STEERING after a powered loop. That caused that well-know crash of Lewis Crathern on Red Bull King of the Air.
Check out the kite position at 0:12.

Now, UNDER-STEERING after a powered loop.
Wrong kite position is shown at 0:04 before the long freeze-frame :)

This video was presented by my friend Mike from Cape town.
Under-steering caused a hard crash for him in Tarifa couple of days ago. Luckily he got away with no injuries.
Check out his channel for some megaloop examples, he's really good, thanks Mike!

In both cases kite was not able to recover to 12 correctly due to wrong position.
So... It might sound obvious, but pay attention to kite position, when it's exiting the loop. Maybe too obvious, so that sometimes you stop pay attention to it and make a mistake.
Take care and share this info, if you have a chance, for the safety of other guys out there!
