I bought a used kite from a kite school as my first kite. I didn't realize why they were selling it for so cheap!

I loved the 2011 ozone C4. Such a dynamic kite. Fast, loopy, Awesome. Bought a brand new 2013 C4 and it was the worst lei i had ever flown. They had optimised it for the wakestyle crew. It was sluggish to turn, sat back in the window and had high bar pressure. They totally killed it for the freeride market segment. Sold it after a month of hating it.
Second on the list. Bloody expensive wetsuits falling apart after one winters use.

My last 12 meter...and I knew it when I bought it.
Simply too large and slow in the surf.
I know I'll give it another shot in some time...and regret it again.

My first two Naish C kites (9m and 15m) back in the day, sorry I don't recall the models. Both leaked so badly they were hopeless. Swore I'd never buy Naish kites again and managed to stick to that until the Pivot came along.

Wind Tools Mosquito Pro KS 9+
Terrifying when
slightly over-powered. No more than a 4 knot wind range on that kite. Saw the best kiter around at that time get thrashed when he took out his 7.5 over-powered.
This water-relaunchable RAM air used condoms with the ends cut off for the air-inlet valves, which needed to be replaced about every other session. Never bought so many at a time, the stares at the check-out counter...
Peter Frank will remember this beast -
viewtopic.php?t=5966 Funny thing is at that time it was considered awesome - so powerful !!

My first C "perfect for learning" kite.
Hahaha, me too! I have a 9m Naish Raven at home that I've never flown. It's 11 (?) years old and still crispy!
