New kite pump leaking around pressure gauge. Anyone have this issue and how did you fix?

If it is at the threads use silicone plumbers tape.

......the guy who feels it necessary to drop the "first world problems" saying here.
I mean, I think this is the exact point where I am going to no longer use that saying myself - just too over done.

Can you just remove the gauge from the system? Or are the fittings different? Seems it might be the easiest way as the gauges are mostly worthless anyway.
