Can anyone point me toward where to get the black cone that is on the plastic sheeting? Is this part of a vacuum bag?vacuum-drying3.JPG
Greetings,

the black cone is part of the vakuum system.

Its nice to have something like this, but not necessary.

The yellow stuff on the picture is tacky tape.

You have to replace the tacky tape with either acrylic or silicon.

tks

There is a video on this page showing how to connect a vacuum bag using a through bag connector:

Also here is a video of it in action

why not cut out the part and foam completely, make a nice pizce of foam that fits the hole that was left, glue it in, make it a bit higher than original, so you can shape it as the board was, put a layer of carbon over it finish it and ready :thumb:

"Maybe have a look at these pictures , it is a repair from my board I have to find one more picture, when the bad part had been cut out, my friend who did this, had cut a new piece of very dense/hard foam exact shape as the part that had been cut out, and placed this inside...finally he closed it off with carbon
cheers
