Every time I get mine wet it seems to be slightly blocked the next day. I need to force it a bit, but then it works fine after.

Make sure you rinse in in fresh water after you use it. Better to rinse it before you force it. Forcing it while it has salt crystals in the joint will probably cause wear, reducing the life of the Quark.
I rinse it every time as soon as I get out of the water. Still seizes up.

I sent them a message on Facebook asking if its alright to use a little lubricant on the joint. Their answer was one word: "Yes".

I'm about to add a little Tri-flow.

Thanks. That is a great idea. Probably silicone gel will work great too.

Whatever you do, don't use the Line Mount from Noir Matter. I just got my replacement one. Went out and the connection to the Quark snapped. All 3 tabs. It happened when I re-engaged the kite after slacking the lines.

The leash got cut somehow, I assume be the sharp broken tabs.

I feel like Noir Matter is using us customers to test their products :-(

I finally took the quark for a spin in my latest video. It was raining on and off for a couple hours during filming. It was never underwater, but got rained on for over an hour+ and so far no issues. I washed it off when I got out of the water, so we will see how everything works out in a few days when I take it out again. (I used the beastmount 2 and GoPro7)

Rylo FTW!

Insta360 copied them for the stabilization for less money , but not sure the form factor is good for line mounts. Also, Rylo released an update to have 5.8K vids (not tested yet)
