No more ika, no more gka , no more world sailing involved in kiting?
Looking more likely by the day.
Including many sailing olympic gold medalists, so far 13 000 sailors have signed a petition that kiteboarding is a sport of its own.
There have also been anti trust lawsuits over who owns the kitesurfing patents and equipment.
I reckon i guess right who took these lawsuits out! I wont say tho...

It seems entirely correct to say that sailing and kitesurfing are 2 completely different sports.

there are a fixed number of events for WS in the Games, for one to go in, another needs to go out
it appears the dingy people are afraid of the decisions that will happen in the following months
a good sign

The anti trust issues are to do with the current supplier of the windsurfing class and two of the sailing classes.
It is not to do with patent,
Anti trust and patent are two entirely different subjects and legal issues.
The anti kite bunch have got all o er excited and seized on it.
May I suggest also that if Bruno still wanted to own the kite patent maybe he shouldn’t have bloody sold it. Thus removing the aledged confusion of ownership that the IFKO are so keen to stir up.

the buyer went to prison
Kiters, check out the board of director of world sailing that says it is the world governing body of all kiteboarding on the water:
http://www.sailing.org/about/board-of-directors.php
looks like the petition that says kiteboarding is not sailing/ a sailing class is going to reach its target of 15 000 votes today.

Target met
15 000 people signed the survey that included that kiting in not sailing - it is its own sport.
Lets see what happens next as part of this giant clusterf#@ck of a sport theft!
