Hi guys,
Noticed all folded sewing on tips are full of sand!
However, visible only on white fabric, like this R1v1:
Thoughts how to remove?
Thx

I noticed this on a minuscule level on my Chrono after only a couple of flights. Couldn’t for the life of me see how it had got there - it was only a couple of grains so didn’t matter - I seem to remember being able to persuade them to wriggle out between stitches but this wouldn’t work with larger amounts.

Blast it with a hose.

Nope.
No go. It's on the clothing line already
U see where the panel ends? That's where is sewn all the way.
I would need a micro vac, like a keyboard vac to solve this. I'll check my Sonic onMonday.

Very common problem on the Ozone Chrono v1. Frustrated the heck out of me... I found you could shake it to a particular point then squeeze it out but really the better solution would be to sew a small hole on the back edge of the seam.
Once I moved to flysurfer kites, never had the problem again.

There was a post about it in the past. Search thru foil kite section. Someone used soldering iron or hot nail to poke small holes in the fold. Apparently it worked well

This is how to do it. Just make sure the kite/sand is super dry
