Chmosavi: living in the year 2028, building hydrofoil twintips before KF had a hydrofoil subforum. This profecy causes me great concern.

I says is ´cause of the construction and new materials: INTERGRATED DYNEEMA, WEBTECH, the new dyneema load frame..... all together

Only innovation I can think of to save weight and drag is a single front line kite.

Would save some time untangling lines if nothing else.

Until there's a new fabric that resists puncture more than any other and has incredible strength and is also light as all get out, it's pretty hard to believe some magical triangular stitching is going to change the rules, much as that would be a lovely thing.
..
.. Make it thin it - gonna pop easy grandma.
....
Cuben fiber was a catchy phrase back in the day, why even "I'm not Fokiten" got a test drive. Based on bullsh_t alone and a big mouth. Now LOST off the coast of Costa Rica and filming a new reality Pahrump loves you TV show.
....
But we are in the age of FAKE, which covers everything you wished you'd never thought or did because it was wrong - and is now legitimate.
.....
So my solution is to let Marlborough Man be the first test pilot. A propo. The ultimate proponent of FAKE on this forum. Now just what was he thinking by calling himself the dumbest, most cliche, name in the world? The original MM is dead from, imagine this, lung cancer.
....
But we stray. Let's hope something amazing is on the horizon.....

So true...

All that added stitching of dyneema has a weight, so if the materials are the same... more stitching should add more weight?

Anyway, besides bridle drag, foil kites are lighter and at least produce 20% more power

Still hoping to see a true game changer in the LEI range!!! (any tests?!?!?)
