New Inflatable Rash shirt

Postby ShaveTheWhales » Sun Jul 15, 2018 3:00 am

This looks like a great idea - many uses without the bulk of a vest or life jacket. Get rolled and tangled in the surf, at least you could surface to cut yourself away.. your kids in water.. :thumb:

You kinda get use of continuous buoyancy (and softer impact when hitting water) of an impact vest, bodydragging and swimming back. Not talking about no input needed on those to initiate floatation.

Why does everything need a button, what’s wrong with airplane style jacket you can blow into to inflate?

Perhaps try blowing up a vest while rolled in surf tangled in your lines... not everyone likes to wear bulky vests while kiting..

Looks like it’s in the crowdfunding stage? Why not an inflatable PFD?

And why not integrate into the harness we wear every session rather than clothes we change.

Having that Co2 canister next to the ribs has potential to hurt, a lot.

I have seen a few people using a Restube lately, same ballpark, different execution.
