They look pretty sick. For sure useful.
Don't forget they are not a survival ticket though, someone drowned at my local kiting wearing a fairly buoyant impact vest in the waves.

I tend to take things like this with a pinch of salt, how far offshore are people kiting to need inflating buoyancy aids?
Sea skills and a floaty impact vest is more than enough for the majority of people, an impact vest also has the potential to float you on your back if you're unconscious (if the padding is set up right and you're lucky) how am I going to pull a cord if I'm unconscious?
Maybe I'm naturally buoyant (does fat provide buoyancy?!) But my impact vest keeps me afloat with zero effort...add a wetsuit onto that and I'm uncomfortably floaty and find it harder to swim.
