Admittedly I tweaked a photo of a photo of a photo, but the green circled areas look like bridle attachment points...

No bridles? ...snip...
They do, and its probably a typo... Nonetheless, they also came up with the Chaos bar which is a 6 line bar, so one can wonder if they let free their creativity on this one
Moar pannels, moar segments, moar lines!! Can you imagine the marketing possibilities? "Our new Cabrinha quickloop recoil adjustable 8X now has double the lines than the competition"

That would be too easy thinking.

censorship? very sad. You get your money from Cabrinha I understand so you are subservient but without us members there would not be a basis for you claiming money from them - keep that in mind
I always wonder what people are ready to do for money.....
You should have in mind that Toby is running the site and has to make some kind of profit, since you are not paying a membership fee there has to be advertising / some source of income, which will come with it's own set of constraints. You get to enjoy this community because Toby is working to keep the site running and that includes catering to it's advertisers in a way that is balanced with the usage of the site... please be a bit more respectful!

It's a respect thing for the companies and their dealers. In my first post I mentioned August 14th is the date of the info to be released and of course I mentioned someone will spill the beans. It always happens and then it gets deleted.
Cabrinha is looking out for the dealers so we can all sell through our 2018 gear accordingly. Toby has nothing to do with this and he would be the same for any company.

Hi Bob,
Has the usual date of release (August 1st) rescheduled?
Cheers Peppe

Lol @ 'pure arc'. Zeeko already has the same thing for some years now, and Switch had the 'constant curve' design since the beginning. Kudos for the marketing though. I wonder what the North guys would think of the aerodynamic advantage of the smaller panels too, given those North panels have been a lot wider for ages. Personally, I think the width you see with most kites nowadays is a good compromise between durability (seams are weak points), manufacturing tolerances (the more seams, the more possible errors) and aerodynamics. Just imagine a kite with hundreds of 5cm panels, lol. Ultimate aerodynamics right?
Ones again you have it wrong Ronald... know your facts or do not say anything...

Pure arc is something different Marc, exactly the same as what Zeeko is using (and Naish btw, not sure about other brands). Maybe double-check those facts of yours...
Or are you referring to the Switch comment? (which was not the point, but oh well) I know it has been around for a long time, it was an example. More importantly, might want to explain then why Cabrinha has abandoned the concept a long time ago (I commented on that before on another forum btw), and are now making a big fuzz with something that isn't new and is stil inferior in design?
Might want to fill us in on the rumours of the Cabrinha crew moving to North Sails too?
