Hi,
A few of us know the info, but the official release is August 14th. We were able to see the product first hand at the Cabrinha meeting in the Bahamas.
Someone will probably spill the beans early and then it will have to be deleted, but the wait is worth it.

Saw one on the beach in Hong Kong last month, not a delta, more like a lower aspect ratio FX. Sounds like a better alround three strut to replace the (very average) Radar.

First I’ve read about it. So like a wave/freestyle combo? Wouldn’t surprise me. Both Ozone and Core seem to be having success with Enduro and Nexus kites.

Why do they change the name of their 'kite nobody really wants except for beginners ' every 2 years?

I don't think they (Cabrinha) are doing a beginner kite at all anymore. All the kites schools are happier with Switchblades as you can get what you want out of it by how you fly it.
But, um, I do think of that Motorola commercial, "Hello Moto".

So I have a little inside scoop on the Moto from people I know at Cabrinha
Like some of you said the launch isn't until Aug 14th so hopefully this doesn't get deleted, but it is built to be a high performance 3 strut kite like Saltwaterdog said, not a beginner kite like the Radar. To me it felt like a cross between Cabrinha's Switchblade/FX and even the Drifter a little. (yes I got to ride it!!!) It has more power than the drifter and FX but turns fast like them (as a 3 strut kite as well) and has the jumping and hangtime of the switchblade. ( I rode a 9m when it was blowing at 20-25) The speed actually caught me a little off guard it was so fast. From what I have heard on the inside Cabrinha isn't going to have a beginner specific kite replacing the Radar. I think people who like the Nexus, Bandit etc would like this kite... I agree droffats, not sure what Cabrinha is planning on doing for beginner kites, maybe nothing, but seems like most schools don't use beginner kites anymore

Cool scoop. Thanks! I’m a broken record with respect to progression kites. Apart from kite schools there’s really no point in getting one. Most of the big brands provide good freeride/all-round kites so accessible that progression kites are basically made redundant.

All good but would you call it...... a game changer?
Jokes aside, have you tried the bar? I'm very happy with the bar since 2016, only issue I have is the knot that get's stuck when going into the tube when flagging the kite, which wears real quick and is dangerous if it tears and breaks since the kite flies away.
