After reading this, it sounds like that Cabrinha is coming with a Core Nexus rival. Would be interesting

Maybe Shriro Group has acquired rights to North Kites, plans to simply remodel and rebrand some Cabrinha and so capture a larger chunk of the market.

The 2019 Cabrinha MOTO Kite Only is a brand new kite from Cabrinha developed to meet the emerging needs of kiteboarding's most influential trends; surf and foil. Finding solid footing in the space between Cabrinha's most popular kites, the FX, the Switchblade, the Drifter, and the Contra, the Moto and Moto XO stands in the center of the performance freeride/crossover range. With a more upright orientation, a more closed arc, a reduced sweep, and a faster flying profile, the Moto is designed to fly fast, turn fast, and deliver more immediate power and depower. The Moto has an unprecedented number of "Pure Arc" Leading-edge segments combining with Cabrinha's Pure Profile canopy construction, thus creating a level of aerodynamic perfection never before seen in a kite. Featuring a 3 strut architecture, 24 LE segments, and no bridles, the Moto is a highly versatile kite that brings a new level of performance that bridges disciplines. Compared to the Switchblade, the Moto performs better in all areas except big air, so unless big air is your main focus, the Moto will raise your level of riding, especially when it comes to surfing and foiling.
There you go! On a side note the new bar appears to cost US$ 610.

No bridles? Unless it is a 5 line kite, not sure how it avoids being a C kite. Very curious to see the kite now.

Looks like an 8 line kite, or some maybe you can attach different combinations?

Lol @ 'pure arc'. Zeeko already has the same thing for some years now, and Switch had the 'constant curve' design since the beginning. Kudos for the marketing though. I wonder what the North guys would think of the aerodynamic advantage of the smaller panels too, given those North panels have been a lot wider for ages. Personally, I think the width you see with most kites nowadays is a good compromise between durability (seams are weak points), manufacturing tolerances (the more seams, the more possible errors) and aerodynamics. Just imagine a kite with hundreds of 5cm panels, lol. Ultimate aerodynamics right?

After looking at that picture, that bolded text is wrong. It must mean no pulleys. That kite definitely has a supported leading edge at at least 6 points, so there is a bridle. Looks like there are two battens on the TE. Looks a LOT like the FX, with some Drifter shaping.

If that is the case then Cabrinha are introducing a 2019 kite without pulleys as also Airush is with their 2019 Wave V8 here:

Admittedly I tweaked a photo of a photo of a photo, but the green circled areas look like bridle attachment points...
