Thanks for asking this, I'm interested as well. Specifically, the Pivot 12m. I've got the original 2015 12m Pivot and would like to know if it has gotten any better in more recent versions. I feel the kite I have pulls like a truck downwind, heavy bar pressure, very narrow wind range, easily overpowered, difficult to ride it upwind. Odd because I really like the smaller Pivots.

Hi Thickair, I had the 2016 Pivot 12m, and now have the 2018 Pivot 12m , totally happy with both years, after a few sessions on the 2018, I honestly can't tell the difference between 2016 and 2018. I weight 75 k, and use the 12 from "just about doable" 10 or 11 knots , up to 22-ish knots. (on a Directional, {my Surfboard is for Surfing!))
Goes upwind perfectly, and bar pressure, (WTF is bar pressure)
If you are that unhappy with the 12m , why not buy some other kite,

Thanks for the reply jonysan. Good to hear the 12m is working for you. I've really got to get hold of a newer Pivot to see if mine is just a dog, but I've heard others complaining about same issue on the 2015 12m. I'd love to find a big kite (12 is biggest I'm willing to go) that works well for me, just haven't found it yet. I've tried everything North makes, several Naishes, couple of Cabs. It just seems to me the 11m kites behave so much better than 12m kites, but I need those few extra knots on bottom end to work here in lightish summer winds.

I did worry that my 2018 Pivot 12 might be a "small" 12 , as the wind range for a 75 K rider seemed ridiculously wide, up to an 22/23 knots (checked later on wind recording sites) ( i was on full depower, and riding fairly loose). but also found that I could also get on the water at exactly the same windspeed as others on different make 12's.
As far as flickability, speed of turn of the kite..... I use it for waves, mostly onshore conditions, carving turns, back loops and downloops, and find the 12m perfectly adequate, as it is fastest to reposition than I am carving into the opposite direction.
For Boosting, I can't really comment, and I imagine any smaller kite would be quicker to redirect.
It's horses for courses. a bit more low end on a 12m, a bit more redirecting speed on an 11m.

I used to love Naish but there is no development and progress in gear and seem like they go for quantity not quality.
Sorry to see that great brand stuck in time .
