Look at safety line #6 on this diagram...4.75 meter long.... from the bar to the 'Y"
With 24 meters steering lines
24.0 less 4.75 = 19.25 from where the front lines attach to kite bridle all the way to the "Y" split
With 27.0 m then it becomes 22.25 to "Y"

Pullstrings , this is very appreciated . Do you know if Core use the same measurement for every kites sizes ?
I had the same headache for North kites but after a while , I ended up leaving them on the Low V at the bar , the kites behaved quite good , the good point was : cleaner lines when landing on the security .

PullStrings , just a thought : if at 28 meters lines the distance between the kite and the Y is 23 meters , to use a 23 meters lines directly at the V on the bar should be the same ? So at Core when they design their kites , should'nt they use a constant distance between the kite and the Y ???

Answer to first question is ( minus 4.75)...23.25 m front lines at the V if total lines length is " 28 m"..........second question answer is no with Core's system and here is why.
The safety system is the same 4.75 m length no matter how long the lines are so the length from "Y" to kite varies according to length of steering lines..if shorter then not as long above "Y"
Steering lines at 18..20..22..24..27 m ..= above "Y" ( using minus 4.75 ) .....13.25 / 15.25 /17.25 / 19.25 / 22.25 m from front lines at "Y" to the kite
As you can see i did some editing
