I lost my woo a few days ago in Portugal . I'm 1000% sure I had it closed properly and while riding I look down and the case is open and obviously the woo is gone .

I'm pretty pissed about this and also was very strange to see that there was always water inside my woo case which means that it doesn't really clamp tightly .

I'm not really sure what to do next , but I'm definatley not gonna buy a new one , is it worthwhile to e mail them?

Yes the Mount is terrible because of the weak clip but mine never leaks. I think the 2.0 mount was the best.
Emailed Woo and i will receive a new one when they have them in stock again but that can take a looong time because of the production problems they told me about!

THE solution; a strong silicone ring, stiff but a bit flexible

Yes. WOO3 is still waterproof. I think they did the case to eliminate likelihood of contact corrosion. Some earlier woos leaked too. So its extra protection.

I use the woo2 mount. After use, the woo sits in a pool of water in the mount. Remove the woo after use and rinse and dry it for corrosion prevention.

They had issues with some early latches not made properly (breaking easy or not latching well??). Doesn't matter if it's a black or blue patch. They were sending out replacement latches to those that were effected that contacted woo.

I still have a woo 1.0. I put the woo in a plastic bag so it stays dry.
