Kitesurfing in Sicily Italy - lo stagnone.

Postby Bossstyle » Fri Oct 05, 2018 11:01 pm

Heading over to Sicily for a kiting Hol. Any locals out there suggest what size Kites to bring? The forecast doesn’t show much for the next couple weeks. Wondered if it is worth bribing out smaller Kites or just the buggier ones?
Are the conditions usually better than the forecast there?
Also what sort of wetsuit will I now out there now?

I went there last year in June time and found that the forecast didn't really work, a sea breeze kicks in around midday until it gets dark. When I was there the sunnier it was the windier it was. I was there for 2 weeks and most sessions were on a 12m, had one or 2 sessions on a 9m when the wind picked up in the afternoon.
