Hey,
I have a 2017 North Click bar without lines, and I'm trying to figure out how to properly attach lines so that the single front line safety flag out works.
The attached photo shows the blue line that goes down inside the plastic cover all the way to the leash attachment point. But the blue line is too short to properly flag anything, so I assume there's some other way it is supposed to work.
Could someone please send a photo of their bar setup or describe how to set up the single front line flagging mechanism?
Thomas

That blue line is in the wrong place.
I can see the end of the main depower line exiting the black PU with the little ring attached, which is for the 5th line if required.
For one line flag out you are missing the red front line with stopper ball that goes from the leash attachment point below the chicken loop up through the middle of the black PU and up 11mtrs to meet your other half of thinner front line to the kite, the red line stopper ball sits on the red line up around 6-7 mtrs from the top of the Black PU.
That blue line is part of the 5th line accessory.
Which is upside down and should be removed, with the free end threaded up through the other little ring so both rings butt up to each other and the Velcro on the little loop handle engaged with the Velcro sewn around the very top of the Black PU line, but you are still missing the long length of line to complete the 5th line,
(that's if you need a 5th line)

Having never used that bar, I have no idea if that explanation is true but
It was simple, easy to follow and great. Thank you.

Thanks, the explanation from Foil makes a lot of sense. I'll get rid of the blue line and make my own "red" line for flagging out. My goal is a V shape (not Y) since I'm planning to use it with Non-North kites that require a V. Also, it should be a 4 line single front line safety setup (no 5th).
If anyone could provide some photos of how the standard 4 line setup of the Click bar looks like, that would definitely help.

yes it is,
but if its just a smaller safety leash you want you can easily make one better than that from the standard long one.
all you need is a Stanley knife.
