We tested the TWINTIP low-end but we're heavyweights category.
So, what are your experiences?

Hi,

I am 75kg, I have a special TT (same looking as your door).

I can start to ride with a 15sm tubekite in one strut a 9kts
And I think I am at 8kts with a foilkite in 14sm.

It starts to be fun at 11-12kts, some tricks, jump...

I have a foil, and I think I use it only with smaller wind between 5-6kts to 9-10kts

The weight is a really important point. When I take my little girl with me I need 12kts to be abble to ride... She is 14KG... So if you are at 90kg, I am sure that you will need 12kts.

Cheers

Norbert

Hundred and mumble mumble kg here.
Riding Switchblade 2018 10m with 22m lines.
Foil board

Can crank upwind for miles and carve around trying to catch the swell and glide 8)

I could ride the same wind on the 21m foil kite and 170x50 twin tip... but it really was the worst kind of lawn mowing. But each to their own :thumb:

First time demoing Sonic v1 15m with flydoor xl meaning no touch to new kind of kite. My main kite was lotus 15m at that time.

110kg + gear like wetsuit, pfd and helmet. 4-5m/s est wind. Usually I can go if kite climbs to close zenith. If stalls at 45 deg = > beach time but usually even with my weight I am last man riding.

Jumping upwind = launch and then land upwind from lkunch position.

I think as low as you want.
I have a friend who years ago rode a literal 2'x4' plywood sheet (from the hardware across the street) all over the Real slick in hatteras while no one else could get going.
Think this was with a big LEI, maybe a 17m slingshot turbodiesel. not sure of wind, definitely well under 10 mph as the main challenge was keeping the kite up and moving.
