I can only recommend the UGo mount, sits tight and one side can still slide

I’m also a big fan of the ugo mount.
Started off with a beastmount but that broke on the 1st outing
Only issue I had with ugo is sometimes the inserts are hard to remove, particularly with cold fingers (probably because a bit of sand has got in). I’ve resolved this by drilling the ends and attaching a little loop of line to get better purchase. Solved!

I just got the UGo as well, seems very high quality (unlike the ironically named "Beastmount") and no hooks for steering lines to grab on (like the CamRig deathtrap). Customer service is excellent as well.

Just rinse it for sand in the water, or afterwards with a bottle of freshwater (I use anyways to protect my "electronics").
Usually no problem as I never let it rest on the sand, as if, I risk getting sand on the lens - so I usually find a spot with grass or similar underneath as I got a high V, and when not possible, I put my kitebag under so no sand on the UGo or GoPro.
If sand, I wash it with sea or freshwater as said.
Only talking about selflaunch here, but most often the case.

Guys, i got the North Rebel on a Click bar with a high Y, you think its worth buying a Ugo or Camrig because of the distance of the y split?

I've bought a UGo for my click bar, I've not used it yet but I'll show you what it looks like if you want. I think it's probably worth it.

Definitely worth it.
Do not get Camrig, get U.go. I have both.
Camrig gets caught and is actually a terrible safety hazard and should be taken off the market before someone gets looped into a pile of rocks.
U.Go does not get caught. Just had a long session the other day and was intentionally putting the U.go through it's paces, looping the kite, slack lines in the waves, almost dropping the kite etc. Never caught or interfered at all. When landing on a big empty beach I deployed the safety to see how it worked, worked perfect without any interference.
So with U.Go you can essentially forget it's there and just ride, whereas with Camrig you have to be very careful or it will put you into a death loop.... Very happy with the upgrade.
