I have to admit. I am somewhat jelious of the Peter pan life style .

But I wonder if I would actually be as fulfilled as what am now?. Yes I could decadently indulge in my passions. But at the end of the day I would come home to an empty house. I think I would be lonely, I would miss out on the love and connection having a partner and family provides.

Come on Plummet, you live in the 'Nak !! Any windjunkie in the know about that place dreams of living there. Yah, Bra-zill may be warmer and have more babes in bikinis but the waves, man the waves in the 'Nak

Ka mon dudes.
.
Pretty silly saying give up your worthless existence so you can go kiteboarding all day, every day, for the rest of your life.
.
I haven't met many people after 64 years of slogging around on the earth's surface who would be thoroughly satisfied by skimming around on water all the time unless they were making a damn good living at the same time, or at least tolerable living.
..
I mean there's a lot to be gained by doing some knitting or weaving, or maybe designing broaches for secondary lifestyles.
,,
Don't throw all your eggs in one basket, for gawd's sake, branch out, explore, you're probably doing exactly what you should be doing right now and still enjoying being a skipping rock at the same time!
..
Could be Toby is getting up in his years and beginning to ask himself some difficult questions and not having solid answers. It's OK Toby, you're our hero who went all the way. I.e., kids suck. Steady jobs suck. Health insurance sucks. Who needs teeth when you're kiting all day?

Sure one asks yourself what when you get older?
The answer is simple: I don’t worry since I live now. Getting old, everything hurts, little money, not getting laid? Not with me! Seeing my dad suffering, I know one thing: I won’t.
But actually, won’t be poor when I am old....I never kited less then this year due to work...but it will be worth it, that next year comes my year with the most sessions. Trick 3000, you will fall next year!

Jake Burton once said, if you really love something, why not move to the best place in the world for it.

Makes complete sense to me. Have fun every day.
