ION hardshell harness sizing

Postby gator1 » Sat Dec 01, 2018 12:00 pm

Im normally a Medium in ION harnesses but I tried on their hardshells and tightened the webbing all the way to the ladder lock. Its because the ladder locks are mounted more forward in the hardshell. Dont want to go to a small size because the back is too small. Anyone else find this?

Maybe a shorter bar would help?

I bought the 2019 Ion Radar, and the Apex CS 15 and the sizing was WAY off. The XL said it was 34-37, (i'me a 36 waist) and the spreader went past the sides of the straps, it was way too big.

Not sure if that helps, but something is off with the new stuff
