This is true, we should see even better quality control than before. On 2002-11-05 23:10, Anonymous wrote:
I understand that Slinshot does have it's own kite factory now, although it is still in China.
Yer absolutley correct! This too has been addressed. Some of us though realized the screw issue BEFORE we used them and used something we thought was more appropriate. I can understand that one should be able to use what's included, but if what's included happens to be the wrong stuff, you need to use your brain to realize this and address it PRIOR to having the problems. On 2002-11-05 19:59, Anonymous wrote:
there have been problems with slingshot skate series boards and it can't only be in the uk.
i've seen 4-5 with the footstraps pop off, due to them using a deep thread in a loaded nylon insert rather than a tight machine thread.
thats simple plastics skills guys. you use shallow high tpi screws in plastic not low tpi self tappers, thats basic.
I believe you! But, what model of skate...what year? Is it an older one? I mean, it may be new to him, but it may have been setting in a shop for alot of months. Anyway....he can use the warranty if he feels it necessary and he bought it new from a shop. IF he did do it through a shop and they aren't giving him the support he needs, PLEASE have him contact me and we will get him taken care of.On 2002-11-05 19:55, Anonymous wrote:
