Kinsley Wong of Xtremebigair.com just sent this image and message along to me.

Kinsleys's message follows:

My friend, a pro photographer, Francois Laborde
(http://www.francoisphoto.com) (Please take a tour of his photos gallery and you will enjoy his pictures from all over the world! He just got back from Peru and is now available for your photography needs) just got a new camera. We went out and tested his camera last Sunday at Arroyo Laguna - San Simeon near Hearst Castle.

This trick is the Widow Maker (please ask my friend Steve Davies, he named
it): It is a 720/360 Forward Inverted ROLL upside down, take the board off, kick and stiffen your legs, then land. I think it totally deserves the name "The Widow Maker" as in the begining while practicing this trick, I crashed so hard many times from 20/30 feet high landing high speed on my back upsidedown... If it wasn't for my shock absorber vest, I would have gotten a few broken ribs.

The Heart Attack trick is similar to this trick but you only jump up, take the board off, inverted kicks, then land.

Hope you enjoy the picts.

Life is good - Go XtremeBigAir,
Kinsley.

I ran into Kinsley in Cabarete a little over a year ago. He had brought a group of riders down from California for a week. He was an easy going, friendly guy. Also, he could really rip it up on the water. I don't think riders had started to do out of board strap tricks at that point. They sure do now though! The photo of Kinsley upsidedown is classic. Great trick and photo sequence!
