I still can't see how your luffing your kite that badly trying to loop it - I take by loop you mean 360 the kite to untwist lines?

You are supposed to loop youself in the air, not the bloody kite. And if you are looping the kite - this usually generates quite a lot of power, so how in the hell do you end up luffing it, LuffY?

Can you describe the actual "clip" and how it attaches to the bar and board and what you do with it the rest of the time.

I have a 8.4 Wipi and found the easiest way to relaunch the kite when it flips over, leading edge down, is to grab about 2-3 ft. of both back lines, either hooked in or not, better if you able to stay hooked in and pull hard and the kite will launch up. Let go and it'll start to head up in either direction. If the leading edge is up, I'll grab both front lines where the depower mechanism is and pull hard untill the kite heads up. The release and shoot for neutral. Very effective considering I'm new to the sport and haven't found anyone that has talked about this technique yet let alone mastered it.
