Well I don't about ARCs but you can do it with an LEI to. About 2 weeks ago I inverted hald a 16m LEI while relaunching as the kite fell back into the water trailing edge down after catching a lull, Half the kite was in the water and the other half got inverted by a gust (turned inside out ) with the leading edge twisted round.
Great fun, it won't fly, you can't stear it with the leaders and there is no way you can sort it out on the water or even on land until you deflate the LE.
Fun, Fun, Fun

Ps. droppin a tip through the bridle of a foil works too, or looping one of the bridle lines around the wing

It's amazing what these kites can do if they put their mind to it.

Preppie, there are no 15.5 ARC's. I don't know the clip you refer to, but Rod flys an F12. It's long and thin and lends to inverts more than others. There is a new G arc coming out that may be a 15.5 but it's not out yet last I heard. (there are "S" , "F", and "G" ARCs) S's are the first developed and with all the mods you can do yourself wioth a sewing machine, they work real well. The F's are great jumpers and upwind rockets but are not reliable water relaunchers. The new G's are in between the standards and the f's.

I did not say that. I was talking about the ARX.

Looks just like my Naish AR-X 15.5. I have never gotten it to do that though.
