No, I’m not sponsored by North or Underground. I was sent a Toro prototype totally by surprise. I’m no better than any of you kiting. It was a huge thrill to be trusted with this kite. I can’t say anymore about it. In 2001 I spent way too much money buying and selling gear looking for what I liked. I bought and rode the Free Air, Air Blast, ARX, RRD type 4, Black Tip, 2002 Co2, and Rhino. When I tried the Rhino, my search for the perfect kite ended. I’ve been on them ever since. I bought and rode the Spoiler, Vulcan 2 Dominatrix, Roberts, DT, and then the Wave Tray. When I tried the Wave Tray, my search for the perfect board ended. I spent a shit load of money last year looking for the good stuff. I’ve tried even more stuff than what I listed. This is the list of what I bought and sold. You can see from all the gear I bought, I have no allegiance to anybody. I think because I am vocal on the net, the designers do respond to me when I make inquiries. This gives me inside information at times.

I don't work in a kite shop either. I'm a weekend kiter fighting to make enough money to buy more kites.

It'll be interesting to see if the Rhino 2's will feature highly at the redbull Airlords in november...

I know last year the FARC was unveiled at this meet and did really well so in the hangtime event we could see some of these jumping machines go at it like the X10, X2 and Rhino 2 and of course the FARC, GARC etc.... could be fun.
