Hi there.

I've been a great fan of F-one's Mach1 this year, and am very excited to see what Raphael's team has come up with for the Mach2.

I've read their marketing stuff on the kite itself, but what struck me is they don't speak to the bar or to the safety systems they will bundle in their new kite. The bar was probably the only "gray" spot of the Mach1 - hope they plan on improving for the Mach2?

Has anyone any idea? Quick releases? Central leash?

Thanks,
j.

Yes they will change the whol bar system.
You spoke about tha bar as the "gray" point of the Mach1, I'd rather speak of black one, since this bar is the worse one I ever had. No way to change a piece if you don't like it, all is pre-built in the factory, and nothing is customizable to suit your own needings. The rear line attachments do not stay in place when riding (they tend to turn around the bar) and it is a pain to change them. Much easier to cut down the bar and add your favorites line departures...

Hopefully, for 2003 (available by now) the chicken loop system has been built in a totally different way, it includes a quick release and all is removable so as to allow tweaking and tuning. Cut your chicken loop and add the new one instead.
I heard about a price of 29 euros for the whole centerline kit.

Bye.
Alex.

Thanks Tang, feel fine, just back from a 60hours kitesurfcamp in our favorite wind sanctuary. Never below 18kts... Totally tired, painfull muscles and bones, but my mind is now clean and free to handle daily life.
