You want BIG here's a big jump..
don't think it was intensional though It was calculated at over 50m. The rider apparently got caught in whats called a Thermal Bubble they also call it a Cook off.

He was a ex paraglider pilot turned Kiteboarder and managed to land with only minor injurys.

Heres another report from Dasurf.com

Another extremely high jump by kitesurfer!

In Holland 23 year old Dutch kitesurfer Romano, was taken into the sky by a thermal bubble near a hotel on the beach of Vlissingen.
His completely unexpected megajump followed after he released his powerline, he was taken out of the water, crossed a boulevard and made him fly over the roofs of the hotel and a flat as well, while flying at an altitude of approximately 140 ft, according to the police.
After passing a strip of houses he landed safely in the middle of a street, without any injury, however he didn't feel 100% fit the next morning.

In Holland where kitesurfing is picking up fast, the summer of 2001 has brought several minor to severe kite incidents, including some resulting in fatal injuries.
Be aware of the risks while kiting, make sure you take lessons before taking of and follow safety rules and your own common sense!
