i've only flown the 10m, but
i use a 60cm bar for my 16 & 12 m kites, even the 8m.

most guys i know use only 1 bar for all of their kites.

if you buy two kites, try and get one bar for free, it's always good to have one as replacement.

as long as the kite turns bar is ok, I use 18' bar for 12.2 Black tip Cabrinha & it feels small but as long as the lines are all set up ok it is fine.

ciao

I use 60cm for all my kites as well.
smaller will hurt my wrists.
