...Or 6?
I would just like to know how the 8 metre Toro handles in 35+ knots - I'm 85kg on a small (WT137) board.

The Toro 8m has a lot of depower right? How does it compare to....a 6.3 Airblast (which starts to get grim at 40)....or a 4.9 Airblast (good to 45+)....or a 7.5 Rhino (about the same , or maybe a little more top end than a 6.3) ???

The Toro tech. sheet says the 8m Toro is 5.9m projected Wipika style.

Maybe you should buy the Rhino2 8m. It's the newest design and should have the best range. Ken Winner said it turned out surprisingly FUN.

But is the R2 8m available, or it's a future w/out a deadline?

Yeah the new 8 Rhino will probably be a goody, a big popper, but I specifically want the low aspect ratio for stroppy big wave conditions. I don't want to jump with it at all. I find higher AR kites with higher L/D respond to gusts too much and supply less consistant power than lower AR kites, no matter what the wind range of the kite. For cross offshore wave riding I want the kite to hang back in the window and grunt, not always shooting forward to the edge so the lines go slack. Set and forget, to concentrate on the wave with only one hand on the bar. And also low AR for better relaunch when I get carried away and forget the kite completely. Anyone with experience on the 8 Toro compared to little Wipis or the 7.5 Toro?
