I am coming to West Aussie in late Nov for a kiting holiday. I will have 10 days in Geraldton, but then need to go to the Busselton area for family reasons. Does anybody have sugestions for kiting spots near there. I know Margret River is close but maybe too extreme for me.
Thanks Mitch.

Haven’t kited down there my self but heres what I know.
Busselton it self is located on geographic bay which sort of sweeps around have a look on a map if you can. The prevailing wind direction over summer is SW so you can drive north until you hit Siesta beach? Which should be cross to cross on that’s only a little way out of town.
About ½ -3/4 an hour north is Australind which is a big lagoon system where a few crew get out waist to knee deep flat water spot.
About an hour south is Augusta with a river mouth/sand spit set up and would work in any wind from the SE-SW.
Hamlin Bay/Boringup beach is a open water beach that from what I hear is also a good spot.
Lots of options and few kiters down there. Any boys from down south please correct me if I am wrong.
Hope it helps
shane
