Quick question has anyone seen the Slingshot Bar for 2003, do they have a quick releasing chicken loop.

Yes, they do, although I'm not sure how good that shackle will release.

yeah, it's just a snap shackle on the loop. i saw it in the catalog and thought it was strange that they would go that direction since that's a really expensive and complex piece of hardware compared to the QRs everybody else is using. only think i could think of was that it was easy and they didn't have to invest any real r&d time.
but i still think that putting a pin shackle on the chicken loop is a bad idea since we all know how well they perform when they get sandy. this thing is going to be resting in the sand all the time!

they have, but it's no good! 2002 bar is still the best.
